Years ago, my boyfriend (now husband) was commissioned by Hook Restaurant to build a decorative menu board for their rotating local brews. At the time, we were 19, and this was the biggest project Nathan had ever taken on. Even now, I think he is the coolest for having his work up in a restaurant on the water in downtown Vancouver.
